House Keeping

Housekeeping workers, whether they carry out general cleaning and maintenance in hotels, apartments, villas, hospitals, offices and other types of establishments, must offer quality service to guests, customers and co-workers.

Depending on the type of Housekeeping operation, the duties of the workers include:

  • cleaning floors
  • vacuuming carpets
  • dusting furniture
  • cleaning windows and doors
  • cleaning kitchen, bathroom and public areas
  • preparing beds

In addition to cleaning and maintaining hotel premises, they may launder clothes and linen, repair fabric, deliver iron boards, cribs and do mainly in-house chores for guests.
